Gaia Pt. 1

I was 17, starting a new high school in a new town, when I noticed I was different. Nobody else could have proper conversations with animals... Okay so it wasn't that big a deal, I could live with it. But then I began too see things, illusions of creatures, or monsters if you will. That's when I became the freak at my school. No one would talk to me and I was avoided like the plague, even from the teachers. It was sad and hard to get used to but there was nothing I could do. Months went by and my visions grew worse, the animals only told me I was to prepare myself (Oh, that sixth sense they seem to have is in fact them seeing the future). I had no Idea what they meant by that at the time, but now I wish I'd heeded their advice.
A new boy joined our year, but he avoided everyone else just as they avoided me. He was tall, athletic, had messy blonde hair, and the most beautiful green eyes ever. But he was strange and clearly different, that's what interested me most in him. Every time I tried to approach him, he blew me off like he did everyone else, that made me furious but it also made me all that more interested. He didn't know about my "crazy" visions, so what was his excuse?
One day after school, I was following him, determined to make him talk to me, when one of my worst and most powerful visions exploded around me. Usually when it happens, everything and everyone else just disappears. Except this time Shane didn’t, he was right there with me. My surprised and confused face mirrored his. He could see me to. It wasn't just my vision; it was Shane's as well!
From then on we were friends. He told me about his visions, so similar to mine, and how he got kicked out of his old school because of them and with his ability, he could move any object with his mind. Neither of us understood the meanings of our visions but it didn’t take long for them to come true…
